RO1 Electric Ride On Truck, Safety Toy Remote Control

The kids absolutely LOVE this thing!!! this is the kids FAVORITE toy in the universe by far! 3yo big brother even washes it between rides to keep it looking clean!!!

The only thing is they keep calling it their jeep I intentionally got them a Toyota so they could learn early that Toyotas are better than Jeeps - HA! Oh well!

Minus 1 star because i feel that the quality and durability should be a bit better given the price.

Assembly is a little bit of a pain. Connecting the tires and tightening one one way while you tighten the other one the opposite way at the same times the axle doesnt spin is a little tricky. The instructions could be a little better. After that, its pretty easy. Dont make my mistake and give it to your child not fully charged, lol. It seemed fine so I showed it to him and he made it to the end of the driveway before it died, my bad.

It says for children three and up. Younger children would actually fit better in it, it says 3+ because of the speed. My child is almost 4 and already doesnt have legroom in it (he is tall for his age). My child was always afraid to use these cars so I like how this one has a remote control that the parents can operate. It also has two speed settings. I recommend using it on low speed until they get the hang of it. Even if your child is driving, the remote control can override and you can stop them.

The things I would change: 1. To charge it, you have to open the compartment under the seat and take out the plug. Pull the plug apart and attach one and to the charging plug. A simple plug on the outside wouldve been much better. 2. The other thing is that rubber tires, or at least a rubber coating, would make for a better and quieter ride. 3. A little bigger/more leg room. 4. Clearer instruction manual. 5. If the lights on top could light up.
Im not normally this picky, but on an expensive toy, I am.

Best parts: The horn, the engine sound when you turn it on, the FM radio, the remote control, the 2 speeds, how it looks (sweet ride!). It also has a way to connect your own music but I dont see myself using that. I love how the remote control can override what the child does.

Toyota Tacoma Kids Car:
I was able to assemble this (not very mechanically inclined) in a little over an hour, youll need a Phillips screw driver (or drill with phillips bit to make it quicker), to put in steering wheel and remote control batteries as well as to secure the seat and the backrest. Other than that the parts all go on pretty quick an easy, and the other tools needed do come with the package. The Tire install was a little tricky at first as I didnt realize when you take off the axle black end-cap that it had the nut inside, so look for it there if you are missing a nut. Otherwise easy to assemble and straight forward. It drives really well, we got this as an early Christmas gift so our toddler wont see it until then. But I had fun testing it with the remote control (videoing it and learning the remote at the same time is why the video isnt the greatest). Super happy with it and it was light weight enough I could lift and carry it out to the garage. Were so excited for Santa to come this year! I would recommend if you have one toddler at home as it is only a one seater, two kiddos may end up sharing/fighting etc.

My 2 year old nephew loves this and as parents I love that we can control the driving from the controller. It feels like a real car with A trunk, blue tooth radio, headlights, car horn and the doors open. Its absolutely cute!! Now it wasnt until later that I realized other sites may have it listed cheaper so shop around but if youre looking for a great electric car to fit toddlers from the ages of 2-6yeara old than that is what youre going to get

This is a super fun car for my kids. My 3 year old loves it. It is perfect for his size but my 5 year old is a bit big. The assembly took about 20 minutes with myself and my wife. We just had to put on the wheels, seat, backrest, windshield, lights and back roll bar on. Everything went together really well. The charger is in a slightly awkward place under the seat and the battery doesnt come out so you have to bring the charger to the car. The remote works great and up to about 150 feet then it stops. The radio works pretty good as well. The lights all function too. The remote only allows to go forward, backward, left right, park and the speed control. Overall it was good purchase so far.
